Tarot deck review link: Initiatory Tarot of the Golden Dawn

Just completed my review of the Initiatory Tarot of the Golden Dawn. Ended up giving it four and a half stars out of five.

I read a review of the swedish G.D blog 'Gyllene Gryningen', and the author of that blog was positive as well. He also pointed out some of the things you also did.

The artwork that I've seen is not so much what I look for in a deck though. But that is just a matter of personal preference.

I had noticed this deck recently too. I have contemplated buying it, but haven't followed through with that decision as of yet.

I think I'd give it about the same rating. It is beautifully crafted, but it also has an air of comic-book style as the artist is a comic-book artist by trade.

That explains a lot Tommy. It is one of the more interesting decks to come out which embrace the G.D tradition, after all.

Personally, I have absolutely no problem with comic book art; I used to want to be a comic book artist.

Some of the most interesting Tarot decks I have seen have "comic book" style art.
